Paddy Summerfield

Paddy Summerfield was a fine art photographer, who lived and worked in Oxford, UK, almost all his life. He mainly used a 35mm camera, with black and white film, producing photography which documented street life & the world around, from a strongly psychological perspective.

“I used photography to make sense of the world through creating visual order – because that matches the truth of the ordered and connected world”

His work has been exhibited in these major galleries:

Serpentine Gallery, London
Photographers’ Gallery, London
ICA London
Barbican, London
Museum Of Film & Photography Bradford
