Voyage Around My Mother

Voyage Around My Mother was shown as part of PhotoOxford 2020. It forms a coda to Mother And Father (Dewi Lewis Publishing 2014). This sequence, extracted from a longer essay World Without End, (not yet published) is centred on Summerfield’s mother as her life closed down. The camera contrasts the small spaces of daily life with the unlimited circle of love and care.
